Property risk assessment and consulting is more than checking boxes, cutting and pasting code verbiage, and simplified modeling. Quality risk assessments, guidance, and solutions come from painting a picture of total risk on a canvas created from a long history of using codes, standards, and insurance guidelines framed with direct property insurance industry operations understanding, fire and property protection experience and recognizing the critical value of risk management. This is, using education with experience to see the full picture of risk and potential client solutions. The art and science of property loss control!
The highest level of property risk management support incorporates comprehensive risk identification, loss prevention, loss reduction, cost-benefit analysis and, business impact analysis supported by client and industry understanding with discussion.... communication.... training.
And, like the gears in a clock that only tell correct time when all cogs and gears are correctly interconnected and aligned, the full view of property risk and potential solutions for improvement recommendations must be based on interconnected features that work together including COPE data (construction, occupancy, protection, exposures), location, occupancy, hazards, financial considerations and timing, risk appetite, awareness of risk and, risk management.
TNT was built on a foundation of 30-plus years of direct global property insurance risk consulting experience working directly with/for insurance companies, brokers, and clients utilizing references including NFPA Codes & Standards, FM Data Sheets, HPR insurance guidelines, and high hazard industry best practices.
We support property corporate risk management, third-party loss prevention companies, insurance companies and brokers with a comprehensive understanding of industry, property risk, risk improvement solutions, insurance and training.
TnT, aka trinitrotoluene and sometimes incorrectly referred to as dynamite, stands for blowing up the norm in client service, risk assessment, and risk loss prevention.
It can also represent the sometimes misunderstood hazards (or insurance company risk improvement recommendations generated for hazards) that exist- for example "TNT" is not dynamite... different in history, use, nature, and risk.
The TNT name, also represents a passion for client loss prevention consulting and Bruce's love for his two daughters- Terra and Trisha (a.k.a… TnT) both also working in the world of property insurance and risk today.
The yin-yang (or taijitu symbol) has many implications and meanings.
Risk assessment is more than a checkbox- there is a balance and duality between loss prevention and loss reduction, between technological advancements and associated sometimes unrecognized emerging risks, between slight site changes in storage arrangement and packaging, and fire protection effectiveness, between simple risk recommendations and realistic risk solutions.
The logo also represents the undeniable value of automatic sprinklers in fire control and, the potential for false security when systems are not maintained and sites are not operated with risk awareness.
